- When furnishing your space, think about complimenting your existing home's decor style. If your style is casual, wood is best; wicker is a great compliment to a country theme, and a formal look goes well with wrought iron.
- I know its strange to think about, but you do need to consider your flooring choices in your outdoor space. Is it a covered area? Will there be small children around it? Will it be exposed to large amounts of water? Consider all of these factors and more before deciding what flooring options to go with.
- Consider an awning. Whether you are thinking about a permanent structure or a retractable awning, location is key in deciding if this is an option for you.
