I have worked for Hays Lumber for 27 years; 26 in Belleville and 1 year in Clifton.
What is your previous background?
I graduated from Clay Center Community High School and Beloit Vo-Tech, studying cabinet making and carpentry. I worked for a prehung door shop and a contractor building homes.
What is your job title and major responsibilities?
Assistant Manager. I do material estimates for their individual projects, handle special orders of doors, windows, cabinets, millwork, and anything else they might need for their projects.
What do you like best about your job?
Helping our customers make their individual projects a reality by helping them with their designs and finding them the materials they need for a good price.

I am married to my wife Mary, and we have 3 kids and 2 grandchildren.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy woodworking and helping with my daughter's fast pitch softball team.

I enjoy a wide variety of foods.
